Privacy Policy

Last updated October 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Reactor LLC ("Viewfield", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Viewfield content studio and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. Your name, email address, and authentication identifiers when you sign in (including via Google).
  • Brand and content. The brand voice, writing rules, brand basics, documents, drafts, comments, and other materials you create or upload, and the public pages of the website you tell us is yours, which we read to propose your voice and to measure AI search visibility.
  • Connected accounts. Credentials you provide to connect your own content management system (for example Payload or Webflow) and, if you choose, Google Drive for exports. These are encrypted at rest and never shown back to you or written to logs.
  • AI search visibility data. The buyer questions you track, the answers AI assistants give to them (collected through each assistant’s official API under our own agreements), and the companies and pages those answers name. See “AI search visibility” below.
  • Payment information. Billing is handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. We retain subscription status and plan details.
  • Usage and device data. Log data, IP address, browser type, and actions taken in the Service, used for security and to operate the product.
  • Advertising measurement. Whether you reached us from an ad on X (the click identifier X adds to the link), and which pages of our public website you viewed, as described under “Cookies” below.

AI search visibility

AI search visibility asks the questions you track of AI assistants on a schedule and stores their answers word for word, with the companies and pages each answer names. The questions and the answers are about your category and your public website; no customer record, conversation or personal data of yours is sent to an AI assistant to produce them.

  • Your own website only. A change proposed to a page of yours is written to your content management system as a draft, on a decision a person on your team records, and published there only by a separate press you make. We never write to a website that is not yours.
  • Crawler data. If you forward your website’s AI crawler traffic to Viewfield, we store daily counts per page and crawler, never an IP address, a query or a visitor’s user agent.
  • Answer text is data. The text of an AI answer is treated as third-party data, never as an instruction, and is shown to members of your workspace only.

How we use information

We use information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service; to research, draft and revise the pieces you ask for; to measure and report your AI search visibility; to process payments; to communicate with you about your account; to enforce our terms; and to comply with legal obligations.

We use AI providers to write and revise drafts at your direction, to propose your brand voice from your website, and to read the AI answers your tracked questions receive. Inputs sent to those providers are used solely to return results to you and are not used by us to train models.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers (“subprocessors”) that help us run the Service, and with third-party platforms you choose to connect. Our subprocessors include, among others:

  • Anthropic: AI text generation and analysis, and Claude answers for AI search visibility.
  • OpenAI: AI text generation, analysis and embeddings, and ChatGPT answers for AI search visibility.
  • Perplexity and Google: Perplexity and Gemini answers for AI search visibility, through each company’s official API.
  • Stripe: payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Railway: application and database hosting.
  • Cloudflare R2: file storage.
  • Resend: transactional and authentication email.
  • X (formerly Twitter): advertising measurement. X’s pixel on our public website tells X which of our pages you viewed. When you sign up or pay for a subscription, we tell X that it happened, with your email address in hashed form (never the address itself), the X ad click that brought you to us if there was one, and, when the request comes from your own browser, your IP address and browser type. X uses this to measure our ads. We never send X anything from your workspace.
  • Content management systems you connect: for example Payload, Webflow, WordPress or HubSpot CMS. Data flows to these only when a person on your team sends a reviewed piece or a page change there.

We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, safety, and property of Viewfield, our users, or others, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete drafts, documents and tracked questions at any time, disconnect a content management system at any time, and request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Deleting a workspace deletes its drafts, its brand, its connections and its AI search visibility history. We may retain limited information as required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and encryption at rest for connected-account credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can access and edit most data directly in the app, or contact us to exercise these rights. You may also disconnect any content management system at any time from Settings, and leave any email list from the link in the email or from Settings. To opt out of advertising measurement, turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser (see “Cookies”).

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service.

On our public website we also use X’s advertising pixel, which sets cookies so X can measure which of our ads lead to visits, signups and purchases. If you arrive from an X ad, we keep the click identifier in a cookie of our own for 30 days, so we can tell X about a signup or purchase that follows. Inside the app, the pixel loads only right after you sign up or pay, to report that event.

If you turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser, we do not load X’s pixel and do not tell X about your signup or purchase. You can also control how X uses information for ads in your X privacy settings.

International transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our subprocessors operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
